We help ensure compliance with all areas of labor & employment law.  This includes federal, state and local laws and regulations governing matters such as wage & hour law, minimum wage & rates of pay, benefits, paid time off & sick leave requirements, retirements, human rights & civil rights, employment contracts, Collective Bargaining Agreements, Union rights & relationships, separation agreements,  workplace safety (OSHA), PERB, Taylor Law & NLRA compliance, among other areas of law.  

We assist in establishing compliant contracts, practices & procedures, including arbitration agreements, restrictive covenants such as non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, non-disclosure agreements, executive compensation agreements, corrective action & staff disciplinary procedures, employee investigations, & employee policies & handbooks.  

We are experienced state, federal and administrative litigators, appearing before the state and federal courts within New York State, as well as various administrative forums including the NYS & NYC Divisions of Human Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission at the federal level, the State and Federal Departments of Labor, the State and Federal Departments of Transportation, as well as OSHA & PESH.  We regularly appear in investigative and adversarial administrative proceedings, state and federal litigation, arbitration, & mediation.
